Support structure foam tank firefighting system

For a major player in firefighting equipment, we made a static strength calculation for the supporting structure of a 3 tonne foam tank that was installed inside the building. The supporting structure consists of several IPE profiles and is fixed to the concrete floor by means of 6 foot plates.

The customer’s design was evaluated for its strength to carry the weight of the tank and its contents.
