Pipe stress calculation

For the expansion of the production of a potato processing plant, a pipe stress calculation was carried out for a new steam pipe from the steam collector to the potato peeler.

The pipe design of the installer was recalculated in order to map all forces and moments in the anchorage and connection points of this steam pipe.

Design criteria of this steam pipe:

• Material type: P265 GH
• Pipe section: DN150
• Design pressure: 22 Barg
• Design temperature: 220 °C
• Corrosion allowance: 1mm
• Design according to EN-13480
