Explore the process design of a polyol plant. Learn about the steps, technologies and innovations that contribute to the efficient and sustainable production of polyols. Improve your knowledge and optimize your production process.
The importance of correct process design for new plants
Proper process design is crucial, not only for efficiency, but also for cost savings on equipment and manpower. At Engineering Experts, we designed a process plant that could process different types of polyol as the basic raw material, despite varying physical properties such as density and viscosity.
Thanks to our process calculations, a safe plant was developed that could pump different types of polyol within a certain range using only one pump. This smart design saved the customer significantly on expensive components such as additional pumps and valves.
